Android users
If you are required to login every time you use the app, there are a couple of things that could be causing this. In normal use the app will keep you logged in until you re-install or we issue a major update.
- Check you have the most recent version of the app installed by going to Google Play on your phone and entering the app name. Occasionally, even when set to auto-update, a little nudge is needed.
- Check your registered name (forename and surname) on the app. We have now made both fields mandatory, as it was found that this was causing logout errors on the Android app. If you have previously registered with a single name follow these steps:
- Go to the app settings screen.
- Complete any missing fields and tap Update details.
- The app will request you enter your password to confirm it's you that's making the change.
If you continue to experience issues, please they deleting and reinstalling. Still no joy, then email us support@myschoolapp.co.uk with the name of the school you are logged into and the device you are using.
