If your child is unable to attend school it is important to let the school know as soon as possible. The easiest way to do this is to use the Absence notification feature* available in mySchoolApp (or a dedicated version)
* this feature is optional and some schools may choose not to have this activated, in which case it will not be listed in the app menu.
To submit a notification, tap Absence in the app menu
Complete all the fields and tap Send. You will be required to enter your password to authorise the submission. (If Touch or Face ID has been set up for the app, this can be used).
Your notification will be sent to the school and a confirmation email will be sent to you.
