The calendar tab opens to display a list of events. All calendar events can be categorised now to enable app users to view content that is relevant to their child. Use the MANAGE CATEGORIES button to create your school categories.

To create a new event click the CREATE NEW EVENT button in the top right hand corner.
Add the Event title
Assign Categories (if no categories are set up please click here for instructions)
Add a Start and End date/time. If the event is an All day event (Inset day for example) then simply check All day.
If the event is repeated (after school club, for example) select either Daily, Weekly or Monthly from the drop down menu and set a date for the repeat to end.
Add detail about the event. This is where you can provide additional information for parents and carers (wet weather clothing required, for example)
If the event is off-site it is possible to add a Map.
- Check the box to display on event page
- Enter location in to the field below and click SEARCH
- You can alter the zoom settings and the location of the marker to optimise the map for phone display
Click SAVE to finish and publish to the app.
Once saved, it is possible to send a linked message (push notification) about this event. Click the button that appears now below the map. Parents receiving a linked message will be able to click the notification pane and be taken directly to an event on the app. This is great for ensuring parents attention is drawn to specific events in the school calendar.
