If parents are telling you that they are sending Absence notifications via the app, but you are not receiving the information, please follow these steps to check the function for yourself
- Use your phone to send an Absence notification via mySchoolApp. (It is recommended to use an account where the email address is different from the school email)
- Once the Absence notification is sent via the app, the user will be sent an email confirmation to their own email address. If this is received, this has proved that the Absence function on the app is working correctly. If this is not received by the user contact us immediately and we'll investigate.
- If the notification has not been received by the school account, please check SPAM and JUNK folders in addition to the email INBOX
- If there is nothing in the SPAM or JUNK folders, it could be that our domain has been blacklisted by your email provider. Please contact them and ask them to Whitelist myschoolapp.co.uk
If you are unable to resolve the situation please contact us via support@myschoolapp.co.uk and let us know the name of the school and the steps you have taken.
